Fed VCS Michael Barr will lead a review of supervision and reg activities for Silicon Valley Bank.  

"We need to have humility, and conduct a careful and thorough review of how we supervised and regulated this firm, and what we should learn from this experience,” Barr said.

Years ago, The Narrow Bank tried to do a business model of just taking deposits and holding 100% of them in reserves at the Fed.

It would basically be the safest possible bank if allowed to exist, but they have not been granted a Fed account. They even went to court over it.
