📢 CONCLUDING THE ODYSSEY: WILDER WORLD DAO VOTE 📢 ✨ Greetings Wilders ✨ 📜 On April 3rd, we announced an important proposal to hold a Wilder World DAO vote on the best way to definitively conclude The Odyssey rewards program. 📌 WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? The Odyssey began as a three-part community rewards campaign to engage, create, and explore. While we initially had high hopes for the program, the spirit of The Odyssey changed as large-scale farming and bot activity took hold, making it harder to fairly reward real participants. In addition to these challenges, broader market conditions also shifted, pushing us to reassess how we design a sustainable, community-aligned rewards system moving forward. Given that there are many perspectives on how The Odyssey should be concluded, we feel it is important to hold a Wilder World DAO vote on the best way to definitively end the program. 🔗 Full Proposal Details: https://wiki.wilderworld.com/dao/proposals/concluding-the-odyssey-wilder-world-dao-vote-1 🗒️ FINAL PARTICIPANT LISTS We’re currently reviewing the final numbers and will publish the final Shards and wShards lists on Wiki here. 🗳️ PROPOSAL AND EXECUTION DETAILS We’ve been listening to community feedback and have included three options for the community to vote on: 1️⃣ Option 1: Remove All Rewards from The Odyssey - Rewards will not be distributed for the Odyssey Campaign. - The full WILD allocation originally earmarked for this campaign will instead be redirected toward future reward programs that prioritise more sustainable, Sybil-resistant engagement systems. 2️⃣ Option 2: Reduce the Pool to 1.5 Million WILD - We will distribute a total of 1.5 million WILD to eligible participants. - The distribution will be split with 60% allocated to the Keepers Pool and 40% to the Mission Pool. 3️⃣ Option 3: Reduce the Pool to 3 Million WILD We will distribute a total of 3 million WILD to eligible participants. The distribution will be split with 60% allocated to the Keepers Pool and 40% to the Mission Pool.
